Aurora based artist and photographer Brenda Snape has been an artist for as long as she can remember. She has always been drawn to realism, working in acrylics, watercolours and pencil and believes that a photograph can speak to the heart.

She studied art and photography through school and had a career as a graphic designer. She now enjoys the freedom of taking photos and painting as part of her daily life.

 

She looks for inspiration from photos taken during long photography walks on the York Region trails as well as her backyard.

 

She has been published in National Geographic magazine, February, 2017 print issue as well as in 3 on-line stories through National Geographic Your Shot.

 

She is a recent member of the Society of York Region Artists and fortunate to be showing some of my work at Royal Rose Gallery in Aurora.
