Janet Riches

I started painting in the early 1990’s focusing on the folk art era for approximately twelve years.  I took a break while raising my 2 girls and then started acrylics in 2015 at the Town of Newmarket under Cori Weyh Onofrio.  From there, I switched to oils on canvas in 2019 at the Newmarket School of Fine Art with Fred Thomson.  I am now a volunteer board member with the Aurora Cultural Centre (ACC) and am continuing classes at the ACC.
