Janice Jones is a visual artist residing in York Region. After 40 successful years as a Registered Nurse at Southlake, Janice turned her sights to art. In 2019, she began her journey by taking classes in oil painting. She was immediately hooked and has not looked back. Janice began by painting animals, emphasizing the positive relationships between them.

 

Since then, Janice has participated in a variety of art shows, has had two of her paintings juried into the McMichael Gallery Student Exhibitions and has painted commissions for her growing client base.

 

She is a member of art groups such as SOYRA, the Newmarket Group of Artists, Arts Society King and the Richmond Hill Group of Artists.
