Welcome to the Society of York Region Artists!
We are a non-profit organization serving all of the nine municipalities belonging to the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada. Our home base is located in Aurora, Ontario.
For the past 38 years, SOYRA has been offering artists like you the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork as well as providing a strong base for artists to network and establish friendships with fellow artists and other likeminded creative people.

Please join us on Wednesday December10th for our final meeting of the year. We'll be wrapping up 2025 and taking a look ahead to 2026.
This is an annual social evening, a time to mingle with likeminded artists, catch up with long-time friends and the perfect time to make new friends amongst the membership.
Just for fun, bring a piece of your artwork to display in our ’Baseboard Gallery’, a tradition we are continuing again this year. Those in attendance will be able to vote for their favourite pieces and those with the most votes will be awarded prizes. Best of luck to you all!
Light refreshments will be served. Doors open at 6:30pm. ​​​​​​​​
We're Moving to the SOYRA Gallery!

It's official! As of Fall 2025, SOYRA will have it's headquarters located at Aurora Town Hall, Second Floor, 100 John West Way, Aurora ON, in the SOYRA Gallery.
​
This is a great opportunity for SOYRA and the membership. Monthly meetings will be held at this location as well as any workshops and upcoming special events. More to come regarding this.
Starting in September, our monthly meetings will be moved to Wednesdays and will be held at Aurora Town Hall, 3rd Floor, in the Skylight Gallery. Same time, same great presenters, same good company.
