Welcome to the Society of York Region Artists!

We are a non-profit organization serving all of the nine municipalities belonging to the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada. Our home base is located in Aurora, Ontario.

For the past 38 years, SOYRA has been offering artists like you the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork as well as providing a strong base for artists to network and establish friendships with fellow artists and other likeminded creative people.

SOYRA Volunteer Opportunity

for Members

Art Aurora is almost here!

Each year, the Town of Aurora partners with SOYRA to bring this much anticipated art show and sale to life. It is because of the many SOYRA members who volunteer their time that this show is such a success year after year.

We are again calling on you, our members, to volunteer just a few hours of your time to help make this year's show an event that artists and visitors are excited about.

We require members to volunteer in shifts to take in artwork, hang the show, be on-site during the show to help direct visitors, help process payments and at the end of the show help check-out artwork.
