Welcome to the Society of York Region Artists!
We are a non-profit organization serving all of the nine municipalities belonging to the Regional Municipality of York in Ontario, Canada. Our home base is located in Aurora, Ontario.
For the past 38 years, SOYRA has been offering artists like you the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork as well as providing a strong base for artists to network and establish friendships with fellow artists and other likeminded creative people.

SOYRA Members Sweep
Art Aurora!
Art Aurora is the longest running art show in Canada. For 61 years the Town of Aurora has partnered with SOYRA to bring this much anticipated art show and sale to life.
This year's juror was Jacques Bergeron and his selections did not disappoint. 52 pieces of outstanding artwork were sold during the show.
Out of the 18 adult category awards that were handed out at the show, 13 were given to SOYRA members.

A Portrait Painting Workshop

A 1 hour follow-up critique session will be scheduled in approximately 3 weeks.
Cost: $75.00 members and $85.00 non members
